I was destined to work in advertising. It’s not hyperbolic if it’s true. In elementary school, I DIY-ed my own Wacky Packages and sold them on the playground. As a high school sophomore, instead of writing a report on the Odyssey, I made a full-blown news broadcast, involving an infomercial for CyDrops™. Advertising even saved me from failing my driver’s license exam the following summer.

Since then, I learned there’s actually a role that fits exactly what I was doing: Art Director. I’m currently spending my days doing just that at Dentsu as a Senior Art Director.

When I’m not working my 9-5, I’m rewatching Malcolm in the Middle, trying out recipes I save on TikTok, and doing the NYT crossword!
